About Ascent XR

Our Story
Ascent XR was founded in 2017 in Fishers, Indiana by Jim Bisesi. After graduating in 1993 with a degree in film and media, Jim spent the next 35 years working across website development, video production, multimedia applications, and XR — virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, or spatial media.
Over that career, Jim has been involved at every level of production and has worked with enterprise companies like Roche Diagnostics and Dormakaba, as well as organizations including Fox 59, Eli Lilly and Company, and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, among many others.
What started as custom VR projects for enterprise clients evolved into a platform company. Today, we build two products — Learning Time for K-12 spatial learning and Career Time for immersive career exploration — alongside custom immersive experiences for museums, trade shows, and corporate training.
